    PM speeds up City metro work

    The total investment for Metro Line No 1 in HCM City after three adjustments has increased from VNĐ14.415 trillion ($631 million) to VNĐ47.325 trillion ($2.07 billion). The PM has agreed to advance ODA capital for the project. — VNS Photo Bồ Xuân Hiệp
    Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc has agreed to advance Official Development Assistance (ODA) capital for the Metro Line No 1 Bến Thành – Suối Tiên to meet the project’s schedule.

    Japan Airlines held a party on Wednesday to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its Hà Nội-Narita flight route, which marked the start of cooperation between the two countries in aviation.

    While the route meets the needs of residents of Japan and Viet Nam in the areas of tourism, economic, cultural and social development, it also helped form a strategic partnership and friendship between the two countries.

    Top 10 famous bridges in Vietnam

    The Vietnam Record Centre (Vietking) has announced Top 10 famous bridges that attract domestic and foreign visitors and photographers.

    Long Bien Bridge (Hanoi)

    Long Bien Bridge was designed by world renowned engineer Gustave Eiffel, who was also the designer of the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris. It was constructed between 1899 and 1902 and first opened to traffic in 1903. At the time it was then the only bridge spanning the Red River connecting Hanoi and Haiphong port city.
