In spite of world economic depression and difficult export, seafood export enterprises in Quang Ninh province remains its operation stable thanks to actively seeking for new markets, partners and improving the quality. In details, in first four months of 2009, seafood export of the province reached more than 6.2 million USD, increased 54.9% from the same time of 2008; particularly, export processing accounted for 6.104 million USD, pearl processing accounted for 0.144 million USD. Besides, small-scale export value reached 6.7 million USD, made up 93% compared with the same time of 2008.
