ActionAid Vietnam's survey on 11 export enterprises in Hai Phong, including seven shoes enterprises, two garment enterprises, one electrical appliance manufacture enterprises, one office equipment manufacture enterprises revealed that; in the first quarter of 2009,  the number of order forms at these enterprises decreased by 20-50% compared with the same time of 2008. According to the report, because order forms of most investigated enterprises had a term of 3-6 months, these enterprises suffered the most serious impacts from the world economic depression at the end of 2008. In details, many enterprises reflected that the number of order forms began decreasing from November and December 2008 and declining the most in the first quarter of 2009, at least 20% compared with the same time of 2008. The survey conductors also judged the shoes and leather enterprises suffered the most serious impacts from world economic depression.
