According to the report of the Council of promotion garments export  (AEPC) of India, export of garments in Vietnam this year is expected to reach 10.08 billion USD, increased compared to the level of 8, 4 billion USD in 2008. Meanwhile, garment exports from India in 2009, although higher than the rate of USD 8.78 billion in 2008, but is only estimated to reach 9.2 billion USD. Accordingly, if achieving the above sales, Vietnam will only rank after the Bangla Desh (expected to reach 12 billion USD) of export turnover this year. The analysts said that some large markets such as America and Europe, affected the most from the global financial crisis, like to import garments of Bangla Desh, Vietnam and China because these countries have cheaper import sources.
