Commodity market at the end of the year: Increase in discount, but decrease in buying power

Every December, supermarkets and providers open many promotion and discount programs to raise consumer's purchase demands. But through a survey, buying power has still not increased. In HCM City, one of the most strongly discounted items was fashion products. Although most fashion firms hung sale-off plate with attractive price, goods has been unsalable. In Hanoi, although many purchase systems have increased promotion and discount together, household electrical products, buying power was very low. The main reason is that world economy is in the most difficult period, so consumers have to tighten purse-strings, limit all unnecessary demands to economize the purse-strings.
